If you’ve notice a little odd and suspicious activity on your Ello.ie account, such as seeing messages that you haven’t sent or photos you haven’t uploaded, then its time to take action, the good news is that there are a few things you can do to ensure that your Ello.ie account is secure.
If you have used Facebook to create your profile, that means your Ello.ie account is tied to a unique Facebook ID. You must also lookout for suspicious activities on your Facebook account because that indicates someone gained unauthorized access to your Facebook account to log into your Ello.ie account, we recommend you to fist ensure that your computer/mobile-phone is free from viruses/spywares and then go for updating your Facebook password immediately.
You can also log out of any active session involving your Facebook profile, follow the steps below:
For Desktops:
- Log into your Facebook account
- Press the drop down arrow (top right) and select “Settings”
- On the left side menu select “Security and Login”
- See the top section on that page “Where You’re Logged In”
- Find the suspicious session that you want to end
- Click the 3 dots on the right and select “Not You”
For Facebook Apps:
- Assuming you are already logged in
- Tap on the menu located at the bottom right and select “Settings”
- Under security tap on “Security and Login” option
- Tap on “See all” beside “Where You’re Logged In”
- Find the suspicious session that you want to end
- Click the 3 dots on the right and select “Secure Account”
